Honorary members are those who have demonstrated an importance to the USS Black Hawk and Star Trek. Honorary members are usually not members of STARFLEET (Joost Ueffing joined STARFLEET after his award) and hold no position aboard the Black Hawk. The Honorary Member(s) are picked each year by the Commanding Officer.

1. Brian McCutchen was the link between Shiloh National Military Park & the USS Shiloh.
2. Bjo Trimble hold rank of Fleet Captain Within STARFLEET and appointed USS Shiloh member Chris Higdon as a Special Assistant within STARFLEET Academy, which she served as Commandant during the McGinnis Administration.

5. Janie Wilson-Cook holds the rank of Lt. Commander aboard the USS Black Hawk and served the dual rolls of Chief Computer Operations Officer & Second Officer. The USS Black Hawk used her server to host our website from 1998-2006.
6. Admiral Helen Pawlowski is a member of STARFLEET and encouraged the development of the Black Hawk/Shiloh and it's leadership. Admiral Pawlowski donated a banner with the STARFLEET Logo to the Shiloh during a trip by the Captain & his family in 1996. A picture of the banner can be seen in the Archive. She was awarded the Honorary Membership for her long service to STARFLEET Academy.
