Star Trek: SHILOH is the first chapter in the stories of the crew of the USS Shiloh which developed into the crew of the USS Black Hawk. Although stories are still planned and can be submitted under the Black Hawk Fan Fiction Project guidelines under this title.

The stories tell the story of the Officers and Crew of the USS Shiloh, NCC-74683, under the command of Captain Jeffery Higdon. As the stories go on they will include Pre-SHILOH stories, including devlopment of characters/avatars.

End of a Shakedown

This story was the first story written. It was originally submitted to the fanzine STELLAR VISIONS, the fanzine for members of STARFLEET: The International Star Trek Fan Association, Inc. This was submitted along with TOCCATA and was rejected. The secondary story End of a Shakedown: The True Story was accepted and printed in a latter issue of SV.

The story tells of the interrupted landing after the shakedown cruise of the newly commission USS Shiloh. The Shiloh is to land as part of a publicity venture by Starfleet and the US National Park Service (Still in existence in the 24th Century) to land at Shiloh National Military Park & Cemetery.

Toccata

A prelude to STAR TREK: FIRST CONTACT. The Shiloh has a critical role in the survival of Earth when the Borg attempt to go back to the 21st Century and assimilate the planet.

Altered Consequences

This story is actually the combination of two stories, Invasion of O-Z-5, and Enterprise, modified and actually has a part of the ending of story Toccata, modified for this story. The first part, Prologue, is that section describing the meeting between Captain Picard and Captain Higdon. The second (Chapter One), set during the later part of the Dominion War, describes the meeting of a task force to retake Deep Space Three and a nearby planet, Omega Zenth V, home of a Starfleet Marine & Infantry unit that had held out for six month since O-Z-5 was capture by Dominion Forces. It also explains how Captain Higdon got his 'brevetted' rank of Admiral. The third (Chapters Two-Five) tells of a shift in history where there is no Dominion War, where the original NCC-1701, under the command of Captain Robert April, disappeared and a new Enterprise, NCC-74693, encounters the NCC-1701, and when Higdon is made aware of the change in history, send back the NCC-1701 to restore history. The forth part tells of the aftermath of the restored history and the retaking of O-Z-5, where Higdon meets a member of the Marine detachment who was in the alternate universe and remember part of it. The last chapter is set after the destruction of the USS Shiloh, NCC-74683, when he gets a prearranged message from Captain April, who died over 100 years before.
